A Saudi guide to cave tourism

Cave tourism expert and guide Tariq Mohammed has opened the door to a new world in geopolitics in Saudi Arabia.
According to Arab News, Tariq Muhammad from Madinah has made tourist guidance a part of his life.
He also specializes in the geology of caves and caves in the country to guide foreigners and Saudi tourists visiting.

"When we talk about geo-tourism, the first thing that comes to mind are beaches, forests, deserts, mountains, underground wells, hot springs and dormant volcanoes," Tariq Muhammad told Arab News. Speaking of Saudi Arabia, there are various monumental caves in many areas.
Tourism is booming in Saudi Arabia and tourists of all ages know that caves are a safe and enjoyable way to explore.

Tariq Mohammed has opened the door

Tariq Mohammad said that one of the caves formed in the volcanic mountains is Al-Ashaheen Cave which is 3700 meters long and is considered to be the longest basaltic cave in the Middle East.
The cave is a long tunnel after the volcanic lava erupted, which caused the surface of the volcanic lava to freeze due to the temperature around it.

The cave is 4 to 12 meters wide and 1.5 to 12 meters long.
Makra al-Shaheen Cave in the west of Saudi Arabia is located in the Khyber region of Madinah.
He said that the sand cave in the mountains of Al-Qara in the eastern part of Saudi Arabia is also an excellent example of its kind.
Limestone caves form below ground level, he added. Over millions of years, acidic groundwater or underground rivers erode limestone, which over time takes the form of caves. Square caves made of limestone and algae caves are clear examples of this.

The cave is 4 to 12 meters wide and 1.5 to 12 meters long.

Tariq said that it is named after the presence of moisture on the entrance of the algae cave and this feature.
He said that the central region of Saudi Arabia has such special caves. I think these caves are the most beautiful in terms of their various shapes.
Tourist guide Tariq Mohammad explained that cave tourism can be done year round. Whether the weather is hot or cold, as well as the time in the morning or evening because the temperature of the caves here is constantly between 24 to 26 degrees Celsius.
Finally, Tariq Mohammad emphasized that the caves need the guidance of an expert for any tourist tour to clarify the characteristics of the caves.
